Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #3

Hello!  I tried Dawn McVey's color challenge again.  And again, outside my comfort zone.  I finally used my one piece of Groovy Guava cardstock to make this card.  I'd like to learn more about Dawn's comments on the hues in colors.  Not sure if my colors are clashing or not since I would never try this color combo on my own!  Also, I tried out my new EK success punch.  I had the darnedest time lining the paper up with that thing!  Hopefully will get better with some practice.

Thanks for stopping by,

Supplies (All SU! unless noted otherwise)
Stamps:  Everyday Classics, Mega Mixed Messages (Papertrey Ink)
Ink:  Pink Pirouette, Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red
Paper:  Kraft, Groovy Guava, and Very Vanilla cardstock, Candy Lane DSP
Accessories:  Pink grograin ribbon, Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Dotted Scallop punch (EK Success)

  1. I had trouble as well with the colors (way out of my comfort zone) I do like you card. The patterned paper is very pretty :)

  2. Very cute!! I too had trouble with the combo...I like it, just didn't have the right hues. You did a nice job!
