Color Inspiration #43

Hello!  I tried another Kristina Werner Color Inspiration using my new Papertrey Ink stamps.  I had a tough time fitting in 5 colors.  I usually keep it to 3 colors, otherwise my project starts looking scattered.  So I decided to use just a couple focus colors and then highlighted my polka dots to work in the remaining colors.  Probably defeated the purpose of the challenge!  Of course, this card is inspired by the kraft and white ink combo of Heather Nichols.  PTI's Fresh Snow ink is so easy to work with; I think I'll be using white a lot more often now.

So I love love love my new Papertrey Ink stamps!  I just learned about PTI around Christmas and placed one small order.  During their 2-year anniversary celebration, I became addicted and placed an, umm, slightly larger order.

I'm new to clear stamps, so I've been learning how to work with them this weekend.  Do you have any tips for working with background stamps like Polka Dots Basics?  I think I need a long, skinny block.  My 3.5" x 5" block seems cumbersome, and I keep picking up ink on the edge of the stamps.  Any tips would be much appreciated!

Have a good week,
Jennifer
