PTI Make It Monday #101 - Layered Embossing

PTI's Make It Monday #101 technique shows how to layer one color of heated embossing over another.  I own only clear and white embossing powders, so here's what I came up with.  I definitely need to remember to use the embossing buddy to eliminate stray particles.

PTI Blog Hop - Black Backgrounds - January 2013

This month's PTI Blog Hop challenge is to use a black background.  I've been looking at my black and chartreuse Haiku bag  (similar to this one) for awhile thinking that it was good inspiration for a card.  I had this card in my brain and then realized as I was flipping through Pinterest that I must have been inspired by this card by Dawn McVey.
